Back to the Writing
I took off a few days from writing to work on Poser and develop characters for Harlem Redux. Difficult going. I finally made some progress early this morning. So I semi-finished two characters, took some test renders of them and then closed the program. I went back to the NaNoWriMo project and resumed work on it. It was fun, a relief in fact. I lived with the NaNo manuscript so intensely for a while there that I got used to it, miss it. And I'm resuming the system that worked so well for me: concentrate on the 1,000s. Write another 1,000 and celebrate. Write for 45 minutes and then take a 15 minute break. Do it like clockwork and you'll get your words down.
In other news, Troy Johnson of the AALBC has posted his interview with me on YouTube. And I'll be posting every Friday on Crime Sistahs. So, I'm very happy about those two developments.
And I had a great, but short, visit from R.T. He had some great thoughts for the current manuscript. Evoked wonderful visions. Not sure I have the talent or technical expertise to get those images down on paper, but I mean to try.
Anyway, it's 9:57 a.m., nearly time for me to go back to work. I'd like to stop for a minute and rest my eyes, then go back to work.
Have a happy Sunday!
