So Happy!
And relieved. When I woke up this morning, my first thought was, "Is it real? Did it really happen?" And then, I told myself, "Yeah, it did."
So then I check my email found a wonderful congratulations from a friend in Amsterdam. "America, you did proud!" Yes, we did.
Time to start counting the days until He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named leaves the White House. (I didn't want to allow myself to do this before, because if, gasp, things had not quite worked out the way they did, I would've been one disappointed lady.)
So I started looking for a He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named Out-of-Office countdown ticker for my blog. And then it hit me: I don't want a countdown that looks backward. I want to look forward to, enjoy the anticipation of seeing him take the Oath of Office.
After searching high and low, however, I have failed to find a ticker that fits the columns of this blog.
So I'm still searching. But I've got to halt it for now. Back to NaNo!
